FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

GEN11 STUDIOS A WINNER IN THE 34TH ANNUAL TELLY AWARDS

Point Pleasant, WV – April 22, 2013 – The Telly Awards named Gen11 Studios (Gen-Eleven Studios) as a 2013 Bronze Telly Winner for their piece entitled “Steak Night.”

“Steak Night,” created for local restaurant chain Pancho’s Southwest Grill, is a 30-second promotional commercial for its recent Tuesday night steak specials. The spot was filmed on location at the chain’s Point Pleasant restaurant and features several West Virginia residents in its opening moments. The overall style and visual flair of the commercial belies its diminutive budget and financing, a testament to the creative abilities of Gen11 Studios.

The commercial was selected by a judging panel of over 500 accomplished industry professionals from a field of more than eleven thousand entries. Entries do not compete against each other but are judged against a high standard of merit. Approximately 25% of entries are chosen as winners of the Bronze Telly.

The Telly Award-winning “Steak Night” commercial can be seen online at http://www.gen11studios.com/portfolio/steak-night/.

“The Telly Awards has a mission to honor the very best in film and video,” said Linda Day, Executive Director of the Telly Awards. “Gen11 Studios’ accomplishment illustrates their creativity, skill, and dedication to their craft and serves as a testament to great film and video production.”

“We’re absolutely thrilled to have won our very first Telly Award for our work with Pancho’s Southwest Grill,” said Director Sheridan Cleland. “I’m extremely proud of my team here at Gen11. We have been blessed with opportunities to affiliate ourselves with people and companies of the highest caliber such as Pancho’s, who are interested in producing really great work. For Gen11 Studios, this Telly Award is representative of all that we have accomplished in the last two years to help our clients realize their creative vision in the marketplace.”

We’re back with a new look and a new site! We’ve spent the past month completely revamping our online identity from the ground up.

First, we started with our logo; as much as we liked our old logo, we decided to retire its two-color design in favor of a simpler, more streamlined, single color design, and we love it!

Next, we ditched the old website and started over completely from scratch. What you’ll now find is that the site is brighter, cleaner, and much easier to navigate. We’ve also extensively updated our Portfolio with videos, images, and detailed information about each of our projects. The Services page has been updated with important information as well. If you’re a current customer, or a potential client, we highly recommend that you refer to the Managing Expectations portion of the page.

Almost everyone we ever meet eventually asks us what Gen11 means, exactly, so we’ve decided to add a fun FAQ that gives a full explanation of what our name means and why we chose it. Be sure to check it out!

Also new is our Clients page, and we’d just love to add your company logo to the list, so contact us today!
